I love Amnesia!
I want to get in on the Jazz Jam sometime!
I play piano!
(There's a few issues w/ da upright, beauty dat she is.)
Has Amnesia looked into a tuner/repairman? Perhaps one could be found on tribe who might do it for less as a community service or barter?

Thu, June 29, 2006 - 2:10 AMI inquired about it the other day. Turns out that the piano is tuned often. I heard it played on Sunday night. Didn't sound out of tune to me. -

Fri, June 30, 2006 - 12:03 PMhmmm... last time I tried to play that thing it was a wreck- many keys not working at all and not even close to being in tune.
maybe they fixed it? I haven't been in Amnesia for a while.
thanks for the update! -

I go there at least twice a week. I was there last night. I know that the piano is played often, and by some great musicians. I seriously doubt they'd play a piano with keys that didn't work.

Re: Fer da luv o' Gad, please fix/tune the piano!
Sat, July 22, 2006 - 3:07 AMI swear to god, maybe it was a different piano which kidnapped the good piano and it's friends held it out back
for those special gigs- I will ascertain the tuning of said piano the next time I am in there. Which might be... October. I don't get out much these days.
I was a little tipsy the last time I was in there, like, 3 months ago, yet I can tell when a piano is in need, and, let me tell you, this thing was a hurtin' unit. The other theory would be that I am tone deaf (which I am pretty sure I am not) and that the great musicians of whom you speak were of such prowess and ability as to alter the space-time continuum and allow broken keys to fix themselves and bend the wires in such a way as to not sound like Sun-Ra on a bad day or a cat pinned inside the soundboard.
We shall get to the bottom of this! I shall hold extensive cross examination of all patrons and staff of the previous year... damn it's 3 am. I gotta get to bed.
